Business Migration Scheme are for business people to establish a business in Australia, manage a new or existing business or invest in Australia.
There are three main Provisional visa subclasses under the Business Migration Scheme:
1. Business Owner (Provisional) �Applicants who have a successful business career and now have a genuine and realistic commitment to be involved as an owner in a new or existing business in Australia might be able to apply under the Business Owner (Provisional) Visa, Subclass 160. Applicants who secure sponsorship will apply under the State/Territory Sponsored Business Owner (Provisional) visa Subclass 163.
2. Senior Executives (Provisional) �Applicants who are senior executive employees of a major overseas business with significant net assets might be able to apply under the Senior Executive (Provisional) Visa Subclass 161. Applicants who secure sponsorship will apply under the State/Territory Sponsored Senior Executive (Provisional)Visa Subclass 164.
3. Investors (Provisional) �Applicants who have a successful business or investment career might be able to apply under Investor (Provisional) Visa Subclass 162. Applicants who secure sponsorship will apply under the State/Territory Sponsored Investor (Provisional) Visa, Subclass 165.
As the holder of a Provisional Business Visa, the applicant is eligible to make an application for permanent residence visa if the applicant establishes the requisite level of business or maintaining an eligible investment for a specified period.
For high caliber business people, sponsored by a state or territory of Australia, applicants might be able to apply for Business Talent Visa, Subclass 132, which provides a direct pathway to permanent residence.
Business Skills Permanent Visas are for people who have established the required level of business in Australia while holding a provisional visa. There are three main Permanent visa subclasses under the Business Migration Scheme:
1.Business Owner (Residence) �Applicants who assist in the economic development of Australia might be able to apply under the Business Owner (Residence) Subclass 890 or Applicants who secure sponsorship will apply under the State/Territory Sponsored Business Owner (Residence) visa Subclass 892.
2.Established Business �Applicants who have established a business in Australia or have a proven ownership interest in one or more successful business in Australia might be able to apply under Established Business in Australia Subclass 845 or Applicants who secure sponsorship from a state/territory government authority will apply under the Regional Established Business in Australia Subclass 846.
3.Investor (Residence) �Applicants who hold an Investor (provisional) visa and have maintained their designated investment/s for at least 4 years and have been in Australia for at least 2 of the last 4 years might be able to apply under Investor (Residence) (Subclass 891) or Applicants who secure sponsorship will apply under the State/Territory Sponsored Investor (Residence) visa Subclass 893.
